THIS SUMMER WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!! CHECK OUT THE
SUMMER TRIP SECTION. I HIT 8 STATES AND PUERTO RICO. I MET A
GRIP OF REALLY COOL PEOPLE AND GOT TO DO QUITE A BIT OF ART. I
FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN ALL CHARGED UP. EVERYONE I GOT TO WORK
WITH WAS SO INSPIRING. EVERY STOP WAS KILLER. THANK YOU ALL
SO MUCH!!!!!! I MISSED NOT WORKING WITH MY FRIENDS AT
LYNNWOOD THIS YEAR. I'VE GOT A MILLION PROJECTS I WANT TO

the E.R. doctors said they didn't expect him
to make it. Devon pulled out of the coma
and is doing better every day. He is so
strong,and determined nothing will stop
him. He has so much support from his
family,and his tattoo family,Matt
Howse,Alyson,the Sacred crew and his
apprentice Aly. You are all what real friends
are made of.
There were benefit art shows in Oakland
that were awesome. Devon is a great friend
and an incredible tattoo artist. He got me
started in watercolors and has always been
a huge inspiration for me. He is learning to
tattoo left handed. For info on Devon or if

16th,05. Ernie Cortez was just a great
person. He played bass in Powerhouse,sang
in Doomsday Device

He started and ran Sacred Tattoo in
Oakland,with Chris Powerhouse.I worked in
every shop and there has always been a
family bond with the crews I've gotten to work
with. Ernie was THE Godfather of West
Coast Hardcore. He produced some
incredible music,he ran a club,The Bomb
Shelter,worked with alot of other bands. Ernie
could be funny as hell,was loyal and down for
his friends. He was the kind of guy that you
know had your back through thick and thin.
Ernie was someone that I looked up to and
had all the respect in the world for. He was
an awesome friend and a great guy all the
way around. He will be missed by so many.
